Hello, I was wondering if there was anyway to have a mob spawn naturally and override an existing mob in a specific world?

For example I'm looking to turn the Elder Guardian into a boss in world2, would the plugin be able to do something like this at all? Just wondering before I purchase etc. :)

    Thanks for reading.

There's actually 2 ways I know of you can accomplish this; The spawn.yml files, or making elder guardians cast a skill.

The elder guardians casting a skill method is in my opinion, more reliable, and easier to get a hang of. You'll need a skill that runs on the condition of it being in world2, that spawns your custom boss, and removes the elderguardian. :)

For other info about the spawn.yml replacement method, you can check it out here.

Are you saying the skill itself needs to replace the mob with the custom one? Or it just needs at least once skill to make it a custom mob?

you could have the vanilla mob run a skill such as

    -summon{type=BossMob} @Self ~onSpawn
    - remove @Self ~onSpawn

which would remove the elder guardian and replace it with whatever mob you have spawn in its place. If you look into conditions, you can create a more advanced skill system that will only do this in certain worlds, along with a lot of other cool options.

Anyone able to help me understand this to the sense of me actually being able to do it myself? Kind of like the subreddit where you explain stuff to someone as if they're 8. :')
