    FAQ
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey there- there's a few questions that commonly pop up and I thought I'd make this thread so people could come here first.

    1. My MythicMobs just won't start at all?
Check which version of MythicMobs you're running- if you're running MythicMobs 2.5.0 or later, make sure you've installed MythicLibs.
Also make sure you have the right version, usually the newest MythicLibs.

    2. My skills won't work/cause errors when I reload MythicMobs?
Make sure you don't have a formatting issue or spelling mistake in your files.
If you get an error like:
    Code:
while scanning for the next token
found character '\t' that cannot start any token
You have a formatting problem. Try using spaces instead of tabs in your code.
If you have that sort of problem, throw your files into this YAML parser , and it'll tell you what's wrong with your formattting.

Alternatively, make sure you haven't spelt anything wrong in your skills or mobs, that's a common problem.

    3. Can I make a mob run a command on death/on spawning/at all?
Sure, take a look at this tutorial on the manual on command skills, or the manual page on the command skill.

    4. Some of my skills aren't working/targeting players!

Make sure you put in the correct targeters.
Skills need targets specified to work, so make sure you remember to set them.
Also, remember that mechanics inherit targets, so if you make a skill like
    Code:
    skill{s=TestSkill} @self
then any parts of it that you DON'T specify targets for will inherit the original @self target.
    For example:
    Code:
    TestSkill:
      Skills:
      - heal{a=20} #This will heal itself for 20, as the original target was @self.
      - damage{a=20;} @target #This will damage the target, as the specified targeter overrides the original.

I'll be adding to this list over time, so if you don't see your problem here, just make a thread and we'll try and help!

If you have any suggestions, post them down below!

I suggest mentioning that if the mob.yml does not have a targeter in one of the skill lines under Skills:
    , the skill won't run!

That's covered by "Skills need targets specified to work, so make sure you remember to set them."
    I'm pretty sure.

What about the error that says "An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command" When I do either /mm or /mm mobs?

Hello there, I'm new at this awesome plugin and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but it's about installation so I hope you can help me to figure it out... I'm using Java 8 into spigot 1.9.2 server and I've installed MythicMobs. All the commands seems to work in game except when I type /mm mobs spawn "name". When I read this post I understood that because I didn't install MythicLib but don't know why I can't install it... I've tried the right version and also all available to be sure and nothing change. Why I can't do that?

also there is no special installation just put MythicLib into plugins directory and restart server

mention that you need to say whether the item in in the head, chest, legs, feet, MainHand, or OffHand slot to work with attributes. If you put "All" for boots, they wont work at all

    Hello ! Forgive my poor english, I'm French ^^ ';

I'm looking for my mob to put a cobble block on the target, but at the level of his head and not at the level of his legs; to smother him.
I tried to do the setblock command, but each time the spawn block under his feet. How to do ? Thanks in advance O :)
